Referral terms
Doomproof AI pays a referral fee when a genuine referral becomes a paid project.
What qualifies
You must have genuinely referred a new client to Doomproof AI. Email jason@doomproofai.com with your full name and the name of the person you referred. They must also name you in their questionnaire.
Your email must arrive before, or on the same calendar day as, their first inquiry to Doomproof AI, using Eastern Time. You don't need approval before making the referral.
Existing clients and prospects who had already contacted Doomproof AI before you referred them do not qualify. Your referral must happen before their first inquiry; your email can arrive later that same day, as described above.
What you receive
The fee is 10% of the service fees actually collected for the referred client's initial project, after discounts. Taxes and refunded amounts are excluded. Later projects and additional work do not earn another fee unless agreed in writing.
Each portion is paid within 14 calendar days after the corresponding client payment clears, once the referral has been verified and the payment details and any required tax documentation have been provided. If those details arrive later, payment is made within 14 calendar days after they are complete.
Cancellations and refunds
No fee is earned on unpaid, refunded or charged-back amounts. If a referral fee has already been paid on money later refunded or charged back, the corresponding portion must be returned within 14 calendar days of a written request.
A few boundaries
Self-referrals and invented referrals do not qualify. A friend or family member can qualify if they genuinely made the referral and meet these rules.
Only one referral fee is paid per initial project. If more than one person claims it, I'll review the records and confirm attribution before payment. A name in the questionnaire alone does not guarantee a fee.
Tell the person you recommend me to that you may receive a referral fee if they hire me. Get their permission before emailing me their name, and don't send private information about them.
I may change or end this arrangement for future referrals. Changes will not remove an entitlement already earned under the applicable rules.
